BIO

Alex Dean is a Managing Director at National Capital Companies, LLC. Alex has been working in sell-side M&A since he graduated from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2022. Prior to attending business school Alex served in the U.S. Marines Corps for 8 years, attaining the rank of Captain. While serving in the Marine Corps he performed duties in various billets including Platoon Commander, Company Executive Officer, and Marine Advisor. He has work experience in Asia, Europe and South America.
 
Alex originally hails from Wethersfield, CT; in his spare time he enjoys exploring the DMV with his wife, playing tennis, and being manipulated by his dog.
